Stopped in for a quick beverage. The frozen hot chocolate is excellent, and the fresh baked pastries were also very good. Neat little area and cute place! Wish I lived closer to it.

My wife and I stopped in at Java John's Coffee Shop with friends after a bike ride. John has a great personality he is extremely friendly explaining every pastry he has on hand and if he is out of something you like he would be happy to bake you a muffin or one of his other pastries if you don't mind waiting. The coffee is great and what I recall he has two blends on hand one a breakfast blend and one a dark roast which I had. John is a big supporter of the arts and his walls in the hallway show off paintings and artworks from local artists. John purchased the building on Main St and restored it mostly himself. The coffee shop has been open for three years and appears to have a nice local following. The coffee shop is open six days a week and closed Monday. John also has a variety of teas, cold drinks and free Wi-Fi. So if you passing through say hello to John and grab a cup of coffee it's worth the stop.
